The City of Brazil has one source of water supply, a ground water well
field located in Putnam County on the banks of the Walnut Creek.
Every month the Water Department pumps approximately 55 million gallons
of water to over 4,500 customers throughout northern Clay County and the
towns of Carbon, Knightsville, Harmony, and Center Point.
